This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I don't like resolutions. Only because there are usually two kinds: 1) Made because you can't really think of anything. 2) You need to make a serious change to your life but don't realize that simply saying it won't make it happen which results in failure.
Instead I have goals for 2012. If they don't happen I won't cry over it, but I want to have a clear path for where I want to be this time next year.
I'm hoping to be able to do more artwork. Not because I have to but because I want to.
I recently celebrated 10 years at my job which is quite a milestone for me and hope to add another year to that total.
I have given up on Comic-Con and hope to attend WonderCon. Nothing against Comic-Con personally, I just don't like spending four days standing in one line or another.
I want to try and do more to connect with my peers here on DeviantArt. I have had the pleasure of seeing some amazing artwork by very talented individuals and plan on trying to do more than simply add the artwork to my favorites.
Be a better person, son, step-father and husband. Those are listed least to greatest in importance because my family always comes first. Just ask my mistresses (kidding)
I hope to meet these goals with all of you. If not, there is always next year.

Thank you. No I don't have any formal training. I took an art class in school but really learned from my own experimentation. As for doing this professionally, I have done several sets of sketch cards for Topps but it is not how I make my living.
Awesome, I was just curious. One of my teachers in high school was completely self-taught. She uses prismacolors as well and she always encouraged us not to underestimate the versatility of a No. 2 pencil. She did some rather epic Star Wars art in pencil and your work in a way reminded me of hers. Until the last year I'd only used pencils, but I've been trying to explore other mediums and stretch. It's always encouraging to see what people achieve with raw talent, that's why I asked.
